From Pfingstegg, this short but challenging descent takes you along a lesser-known mountain trail through the idyllic Flielewald back to Grindelwald. In about an hour of walking time, you can expect varied forest sections, impressive views into the valley, and a beautiful mountain panorama. The path is steep in places and requires some sure-footedness – so good footwear is essential.
The valley station of the Pfingstegg cable car is located on the southern edge of the village of Grindelwald and can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes from the train station. For guests arriving by public transport, the bus stop “Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn” is located right next to the valley station. Visitors arriving by car will find public parking spaces nearby.
