Modernization of Cabins and Stations As part of a comprehensive renovation, new cabins manufactured by CWA have been put into operation. Newly installed station cable shoes, perfectly matched to the new cabins, ensure smooth and barrier-free boarding and disembarking. Another highlight of the modernization is the fully automated platform door system with sliding doors, which makes access to the cabins even more convenient and secure. At the same time, numerous maintenance works were carried out on the existing infrastructure to ensure long-term operation. The project cost approximately CHF 2.6 million. The renovation is rounded off by the introduction of a modern badge-based locking system by the company Salto, which offers maximum security and user-friendliness for both staff and operations.
