Fly-Line

Treat yourself to a flight – through nature!
Glide for around 2.5 minutes over 350 meters through the stunning mountain scenery of Pfingstegg. The Fly-Line lets you experience pure nature – gentle, safe, and full of joy. A perfect moment to escape everyday life and simply let go. The starting and ending point is located just below the upper station of the cable car.

Our Fly-Line is a stainless steel tube system that is suspended from wooden collars on the trees in the forest. During the flight, you sit in a harness system suspended from rollers. These rollers allow you to glide over the tube system at 8 - 12 km/h.

At the end of the flight, a retriever awaits you to take you comfortably back to the starting point. This makes our Fly-Line the only installation in the world where you don't have to walk back.

Rules

  • The use of the Fly-Line is at your own risk.

  • No persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be transported.

  • Our employees may exclude someone from the journey at their own discretion.

  • In wet weather, storms, snow or other forces of nature, the Fly-Line may be closed immediately for safety reasons. There is no entitlement to a refund!

  • During the ride, it is strictly forbidden to swing, hold on to the trees or the structures, brake or touch the support arms of the shuttle or the haul rope during the ascent.

  • The carrying of objects (mobile phones, cameras etc.) is permitted at your own risk. Any liability for loss of any kind is rejected. No assistance will be provided in the search for lost items during the journey.

Travelling to the Pfingstegg cablecar

  • Pfingstegg Parking

    The valley station of the Pfingstegg cable car is located on the southern edge of the village of Grindelwald and can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes from the train station. For guests arriving by public transport, the bus stop “Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn” is located right next to the valley station. Visitors arriving by car will find public parking spaces nearby. For navigation systems: Rybigässli 25, 3818 Grindelwald.

  • Public Transportation

    The Pfingstegg cable car is easily accessible by public bus from Grindelwald train station – the ride takes only about 5 minutes. Buses run regularly every 15 to 30 minutes. Get off at the “Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn” stop, located right next to the valley station. Perfect for a stress-free journey without a car!

  • Park+Ride Grindelwald Terminal

    Additional parking spaces are available at the Grindelwald Terminal car park. With your parking ticket, you can use the public bus to and from the Pfingstegg cable car free of charge. The bus connects the terminal with the village center, the train station, and the valley station of the Pfingstegg cable car – ideal for a relaxed arrival without the hassle of searching for parking in the village.
